Super Bowl Sunday just wouldn’t be complete without a few memorable commercials that debut for big bucks between plays during the biggest sporting event of the year. The best ones ones either get us laughing or shedding a tear but the ones that make the biggest impact can sometimes launch sales into the stratosphere and keep people talking for years to come.
The stakes for advertisers are only getting higher, with NBC reportedly asking more than $5 million for a 30 second spot according to AdWeek. Incredibly, the ad spots appear to be sold out with one week to go before kickoff so you’re bound to see A LOT of commercials as part of your entertainment for the day. Which ones will make history and which ones will flop? Only time and social media will tell but here are a few previews of the ones you can expect to see next Sunday.
