The Google’s “Arts and Culture” app has been around since 2016 and has gone largely unnoticed by the masses until recently. It seems that on a recent update of the app, the search giant introduced a feature that made it possible for app users to take a selfie and, using Google’s Machine Learning technology, matches the selfie-snapper’s photo to portraits from more than 1,200 museums in more than 70 countries.
Needless to say, the feature has proven irresistible to a number of celebrities who have shared the app’s portrait pairings on their social media profiles. Some of the matches are dead on while others are less than flattering while others are hilariously absurd.
